Woman gravely ill after surviving two execution attempts

Christa Gail Pike, 50, was gravely ill in a Nashville hospital Oct. 4, four days after surviving two execution injections. On a breathing machine, lawyer Stephen Ferrell said he did not think she had woken up. Doctors were still clearing two doses of pentobarbital, a sedative, from her body. Recovery is unclear.
