Christa Pike remains critically ill after surviving two lethal injections

Christa Gail Pike, 50, remained critically ill on a ventilator in a Nashville hospital on Oct. 4, four days after surviving two lethal injection attempts. Lawyer Stephen Ferrell said doctors were still clearing two pentobarbital doses and he did not believe she had regained consciousness. Her prognosis is unclear.
