New York's Top Lawyer Takes Over Cornell Case

New York Governor Kathy Hochul asked the state's top lawyer, Letitia James, to take over the alleged 2024 gang rape at Cornell's Chi Phi fraternity. Tompkins County prosecutor Matthew Van Houten had brought no charges. Hochul said new details hurt trust in that call and she would not let the case 'be swept under the rug.'
