Te Pāti Māori puts one name on backup list

Te Pāti Māori will put one name on its backup list for the 2026 election. The party said General Secretary Lance Norman was unanimously chosen as its only list candidate, apart from its seven candidates in the Māori seats. It said it is focused on winning those seven seats directly.
