
Apple makes it harder for apps to see all your Mac files
Apple will make Mac users give clearer permission before an app can look through files, emails, texts and web history. Apple says helper programs that act on their own have made that broad access riskier, and the risk will rise as they get smarter. Users can still allow it, but must do so very deliberately.
