28 Killed in Twin Township Shootings in South Africa

28 people were killed in two township shootings hours apart on Sept. 27 in South Africa's two main cities. Seventeen died in a tavern attack in Wedela, Gauteng, near Johannesburg, with 14 more injured, the BBC reported. Dividing detectives and forensic teams — specialists who collect crime-scene evidence — between sites may slow the early investigation.
