Rivian Expects New R2 to Drive Growth in 2026

Rivian expects deliveries of its R1T truck, R1S SUV and delivery van to stay flat in 2026, with extra sales from its new R2. It told investors it expects more than 25,000 R2s in the first year of production. Chief executive RJ Scaringe said R2 will move Rivian from small-scale to large-scale manufacturing.
