Peter Thiel bought Casa Encantada, a Bel-Air home that sold in July for $130 million. The Wall Street Journal revealed his name after months of secrecy. He bought it using a special company set up to hide the real buyer, like a mask. Thiel helped start PayPal and Palantir.
