Russian Drones Shut Down Kyiv Bridges

Russia hit Kyiv with 100 drones — flying bombs — on Oct. 2, 2026, officials said. One person died. Three bridges over the Dnipro River partly closed, jamming traffic. Southern and Paton bridges closed both ways; Metro Bridge closed toward the river's right side. Southern Bridge was hit four times in 24 hours, blocking hundreds of thousands going to work.
