Pilot Stabbed Protecting Dubai to Tel Aviv Flight

On a Sept. 30 FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv with about 170 people aboard, the second pilot attacked captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian citizen, with a knife. Wounded, Machchhar fought back and opened the pilots' cabin door so others could help. He is recovering well. Questions over cabin safety and pilot checks are likely.
