Trump Threatens to Stop Sending Diesel Fuel to Europe

President Donald Trump said in early October 2026 he is "thinking" about stopping U.S. diesel shipments to Europe. He wants Europe to open its backup fuel supplies to help lower American fuel prices before midterm elections. Britain and the EU say they discussed supplies, but have not released any.
