Canada Fast-Tracks West Coast Pipeline

Prime Minister Mark Carney put the planned oil pipeline from Alberta to Canada's west coast, now called Pacific Link, on Canada's priority list on Oct. 1, 2026. That puts it in one review by the national government, like one express checkout line, so leaders can decide faster on the plan to ship oil abroad.
