Shopify Lets Shop Owners Build Websites Just by Describing Them

Shopify released a tool called Canvas on Oct 1, 2026. Shop owners describe what they want in everyday words to Sidekick, a helper built into Shopify, like telling a designer what to change, and it updates the website code that controls how the shop looks. Edits show up instantly. It is rolling out over the next few days.
