
Ottawa gives priority status to planned Alberta-to-B.C. pipeline
Prime Minister Mark Carney put the proposed Pacific Link oil pipeline from Alberta to B.C. on Ottawa's national-interest list on Oct. 1. That means it gets priority attention. Ottawa's Major Projects Office, the central office for big approvals, will lead the review, with rules to be set by Sept. 1, 2027.
