Photon gets $4.5M for in-chat helpers

Photon has raised $4.5 million in early funding for its system that lets builders make helpers living inside iMessage and WhatsApp chats. Instead of downloading a separate app, you talk to the helper in a normal conversation. The system offers shared connection tools, chat setup kits, a typed-command toolbox and activity trackers.
