Smaller parties hold first campaign debate

The leaders of six smaller parties debated on 1 October in their first campaign debate, called The Kingmakers' Debate. The Press and Stuff hosted it, with Stuff political editor Jenna Lynch as host, according to Stuff. RNZ ran it live from 7.30pm. Those involved included the Greens, ACT, New Zealand First, Te Pāti Māori and Opportunity's Qiulae Wong.
