
Petrol relief? Oil price drops as Middle East shipments return
Oil prices fell 2.5% Tuesday after JPMorgan estimated Middle East crude oil shipments recovered to 17.5 million barrels a day, 98% of levels before the war. Like more trucks arriving, that should help lower petrol prices if it continues. I’m doubtful it lasts until U.S.-Iran talks finish, with 20% of the world’s oil passing through Hormuz, Reuters reports.
