Replit Changes the Engine Behind Its Coding Helper

Replit has switched its AI coding helper from Temporal to Restate. Restate saves every question, tool use and decision, like a bookmark, so the helper can resume after a crash. It also lets Replit update the helper without breaking ongoing work. Restate, based in Berlin, was co-founded in 2022 by Stephen Ewen.
