Shoebridge Wants to Lead the Greens Party

NSW Senator David Shoebridge says he wants to lead Australia's Greens party, naming Victorian Senator Steph Hodgins-May as his second-in-command, like a deputy captain. Announced 30 September after leader Larissa Waters stepped down for kidney disease treatment. He will face deputy leader Mehreen Faruqi and Sarah Hanson-Young. The party's elected members will vote, possibly on 30 September.
