Shoebridge enters Greens leadership race with Hodgins-May as deputy

NSW Senator David Shoebridge announced on 30 September he will contest the Australian Greens leadership, proposing Victorian Senator Steph Hodgins-May as deputy. The contest follows Larissa Waters' resignation for kidney disease treatment. Shoebridge faces Deputy Leader Mehreen Faruqi and Sarah Hanson-Young, with a party-room vote expected as soon as 30 September.
