Rejoining the EU is one option PM Andy Burnham gave Labour's Liverpool conference on 29 September 2026. He will outline future links with the EU at the autumn reset summit. He said Brexit, leaving the EU, 'hasn't given us control' and brakes growth. Others are Norway-, Switzerland- or Canada-like deals, or shared tax and business rules.
