Burnham Says His Party Could Rethink Ties With Europe

In his first speech as prime minister, Andy Burnham told Labour members in Liverpool he could go beyond his party's election promises and consider closer trade ties with Europe, like sharing import taxes and market rules, or even rejoining the EU. That would still need talks with EU leaders and tough choices at home over rules and money.
