Computers approved visas without a person checking

More than 55 visitor visas and employer checks were approved by computer with no person checking them, RNZ reported. Immigration New Zealand said its ADEPT computer system did an automatic step twice by mistake. It has told Immigration Minister Erica Stanford. ADEPT is part of the $336 million Our Future Services programme.
