Immigration system auto-approved 55 visas with no human check

Immigration New Zealand's ADEPT system automatically approved more than 55 visitor visas and employer Job Checks without human assessment, RNZ reported. The fault let an automated process run twice, bypassing officer review. INZ notified Immigration Minister Erica Stanford. ADEPT is part of the $336 million Our Future Services programme.
