U.S. and China Asked to Limit Powerful AI

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), the top Democrat on the House committee on China, called for a U.S.-China agreement to prevent global harm from AI. Shared Sept. 29, it would ban AI that redesigns itself to become smarter, like a machine rebuilding its own engine, and monitor advanced labs.
