Anand puts deputy in charge of Havana cases, no new inquiry

Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand has put Deputy Minister Arun Thangaraj, her department's top public servant, in charge of the Havana syndrome files as a human-resources matter. She will not reopen the 2024 report, which found no foreign attack and no shared cause. She says the RCMP investigation also reached no firm conclusion.
