No Parliament from 1 October until after 7 November vote

New Zealand will have no working Parliament from 1 October until after the 7 November election, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon says. MPs finish up on that date. The Governor-General will sign the papers to close Parliament on the prime minister's advice.
