27-year-old cliff jumper dies in 700-foot fall in Utah

A 27-year-old cliff-jumping expert in a gliding suit died Sunday in Hyrum, Utah, after a 700-foot fall. The Cache County Sheriff's Office said his suit, like wings to slow a fall, did not catch enough air, causing a high-speed crash. He died at the scene in mountains east of Millville. His name was withheld until family was told.
