Experienced BASE jumper, 27, dies in 700-foot fall in Utah

A 27-year-old experienced BASE jumper died Sunday in Hyrum, Utah, after falling 700 feet. The Cache County Sheriff's Office said his wingsuit failed to provide enough lift, causing high-speed impact. He was declared dead at the scene in mountainous terrain east of Millville. His identity was withheld pending family notification.
