Zoo Atlanta Welcomes Two New Giant Pandas

Zoo Atlanta has two giant pandas for 10 years. Male Ping Ping and female Fu Shuang arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on September 27, 2026, on a FedEx Panda Express Boeing 777. Born at Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, their move was announced by Xi Jinping on September 24. They are in routine quarantine, out of public view.
