17 People Killed in Shooting at Bar Near Johannesburg

Seventeen people were killed and at least 15 hurt when eight suspects with AK-47 rifles, powerful rapid-fire guns, and smaller handguns called pistols shot inside a bar in Wedela, a township — a crowded residential area — southwest of Johannesburg, on Saturday night, police said. No one has been arrested. Police in Gauteng region are searching for the attackers.
