Judge Pauses Disputed Portadown Parade Until Full Review

Justice Smyth paused the Parades Commission's permission, the official go-ahead, for an Orange Order parade on Garvaghy Road in Portadown at 8am on 27 September until a full review of the decision. The order followed a five-hour special High Court session after a legal challenge by local residents, the Garvaghy Road Residents Coalition.
