High Court Suspends Drumcree Parade Approval on Garvaghy Road

Justice Smyth suspended the Parades Commission's approval — the official permit — for an Orange Order parade on Garvaghy Road in Portadown at 8am on 27 September until a judicial review, a full court examination, is heard. The order came after a five-hour special High Court sitting on a challenge by the Garvaghy Road Residents Coalition.
