Mexico and U.S. discussed trade deal without Canada

Mexico and the United States worked on a trade deal between just the two of them, leaving Canada out, after three-way talks broke down, Reuters reported Sept. 11. A Canadian official said Canada and the U.S. were still talking, but had not started official negotiations on a new deal.
