Kiteworks asked customers on September 25, 2026 to turn off its systems for sending files before the weekend due to a likely cyberattack. Security chief Frank Balonis said police had shared a serious warning. The company said no break-in had happened. Customers in Central Europe were asked to stay switched off September 26 from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.
