Oil at $93.94 Keeps Fuel Costs High

Light Sweet Crude oil cost $93.94 on Sept. 24, 2026, CME Group said. That's down 67 cents, or 0.71%, on volume of 4,132 trades. It tracks West Texas Intermediate, a main U.S. oil type sold ahead of delivery. CME calls it the world's most easily traded oil deal. Near $94, it keeps pushing up fuel costs for drivers and households.
