Apple to charge up to $60 a month for smart camera alerts

Apple will charge up to $60 a month for its Home security cameras, including written summaries describing what the camera sees. Rival plans with similar smart features from Amazon Ring and Google Nest cost about $20 a month. Apple shared the prices September 14 with iOS 27, its new Apple Intelligence for Home software.
