Google says its next big AI, Gemini 4, is coming soon

Google plans to release Gemini 4, its top AI assistant, much earlier than the end of the year, DeepMind chief Koray Kavukcuoglu said in his first press interview in the job. The system is in early fine-tuning, like early rehearsals before opening night. Google has not released a top model since Gemini 3 in November 2025.
