Trump Greets China's Leader to Start Two-Day Visit

Donald Trump met China's leader Xi Jinping right at the plane at Joint Base Andrews on the evening of Sept. 23, 2026. That airport greeting is unusual. It opened a two-day formal visit between countries. It was their second meeting this year, after Trump visited China.
