Older protesters arrested at Parliament buildings

Several seniors calling for stronger climate action were arrested and charged with trespassing, being on Parliament Hill without permission. They blocked the doors to West Block, the building where members of Parliament meet for now, and would not leave. The group, calling itself the "climate caravan," refused Parliament security's order to move. Ottawa police then removed them.
