Seniors arrested in climate protest at West Block

Several seniors calling for stronger climate action were arrested and charged with trespassing on Parliament Hill. They refused to leave the doors to West Block, the building now housing the House of Commons. A Parliamentary Protective Service officer — Parliament's security force — ordered the self-described "climate caravan" to move. Ottawa police then removed them.
