Congresswoman Says She Could Not Talk to Immigrants Held at Montana Camp

Congresswoman Veronica Escobar, Democrat from El Paso, says federal officials blocked her from talking to held immigrants during inspection at Camp East Montana. The Fort Bliss tent camp holds up to 5,000 and is the largest lockup run by ICE, the immigration detention agency. She told the Guardian she asked for security video of early-September unrest but got nothing.
