China's Leader to Meet U.S. Leader in Washington on Sept. 24

China's President Xi Jinping will make a State Visit — the most formal visit between countries — to Washington to meet U.S. President Donald Trump on Sept. 24, 2026, China's foreign ministry, its office for dealing with other countries, announced Sept. 21. Spokesman Guo Jiakun said they will talk in depth about U.S.-China relations and world issues.
