Xi to Visit Washington for Sept. 24 Meeting With Trump

Chinese President Xi Jinping will make a formal State Visit — the highest-level official visit — to Washington for a summit, or leaders' meeting, with President Donald Trump on Sept. 24, 2026, China's Foreign Ministry said Sept. 21. Spokesman Guo Jiakun said they will discuss major issues in U.S.-China relations and global affairs.
