
America's Oil Reserves Just Dropped Sharply
The U.S. is burning through its crude oil stockpile faster than it's bringing in new supplies. Reserves fell by 15 million barrels over two weeks—imports are down 5.8% year-over-year. Storage levels are now near their lowest point since early 2026. Domestic oil production will need to climb to stop reserves from falling further and potentially causing supply tightness.
