Major Hurricane Lowell Heads Toward Hawaii

A powerful hurricane named Lowell, with winds of 125 miles per hour, is heading toward two of Hawaii's western islands. The governor declared an emergency and called in the National Guard to help. Lowell should weaken slightly before passing near Kauai Monday night into Tuesday morning. Both islands are under a tropical storm warning. This is Hawaii's third storm in under a month.
