Supreme Court Asked to Limit Mail-In Voting as Ballots Go Out

The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court on September 6 to let it block mail-in ballots from being mailed unless voters are on a government citizenship list. Ballots are already reaching North Carolina voters; Alabama follows September 9, with five more states the week of September 13. Nearly one-third of Americans vote by mail.
