Report: Israeli Military Labeled Aid Workers as Targets Based on Who Was Nearby

A Guardian investigation found that seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen were killed in April 2024 by Israeli drone strikes in Gaza. The military had labeled them as targets under a practice letting commanders treat civilians as fighters simply because they were near suspected militants.
