New York governor targets maker of hard-to-detect 3D-printed guns

New York Governor Kathy Hochul told The Verge she will "get ahead of him next," naming Cody Wilson for the first time. Wilson created a tool that makes 3D-printed gun files hard to detect and plans to apply it to all files on his DEFCAD site by default. Hochul defended her state's ban on owning such weapons, citing guns made without background checks.
