Blue Poles: the $500 million painting is travelling to Perth

Jackson Pollock's Blue Poles, worth over $500 million, is leaving Canberra's National Gallery for a six-month show at Perth's Art Gallery of WA from April 2027. It hasn't been loaned anywhere in 20 years and has never been shown in WA. Director Nick Mitzevich won't say how it'll get there — security reasons. You don't exactly post the route for a painting worth that much.
